To those who’s comments I removed

I want this to be a safe place where anyone and everyone can talk about video games

If your only critique is that a game is woke and that’s your reason for disliking it, and you push some sort of ideals on people, I honestly will just remove the comment and move on with my day.

We talk about video games, nothing else matters

If I ever say anything any of you ever find to be in bad taste, let me know! ❤

SR1 is such a beautiful piece of art

The only small problem is that Troy never betrayed the saints. He doesn't speak about the saints durin the cutscene '15 minutes', only let the brotherhood out becaise he was forced to do so, and Gat stopped getting beat as soon as he became chief of police. That cop was far more loyal than Dex, and his uniform in SR2 is closer to purple than other police uniforms. Troy Bradshaw was real.

Saints Row 2 is the Destroy All Humans 2 of the series

EY! It's The Carnales!

Comparing Saints Row to GTA is the reason they changed the tone in Saints Row 3 to 4.
"GTA CLONE"

In Saints Row 2, the part where you collect three audio logs in the police station is going to be followed with going to Troy's office to pickup Dex's phone number to call him and follow up with more missions.
In SR4, the buffs work well with guns against the wardens shields and the Bling buff works extremely well with Melee weapons to get currency really fast.

IMO Saints Row the Third was a huge stepdown in quality in more ways than bland Steelport and a lame story. I prefer the depiction of the merciless SR2 boss and the goofy Sr3 and onwards one.

The first saints row is the best one

Just in case it wasn't a joke, "the Scottish guy" was Roddy Piper who acted with Keith David in the movie They Live. Since you mentioned liking the set dressing of the city in SR4, you'd probably like the movie, and would definitely recognize the fight choreography.

What i like about saints row 2 is that not only it showed us gangs fighting each other with cops but also showed us the ugly truth of ultor disguising itself as a corporation helping the public and letting gangs tear each other apart and take over the city, they can get away with almost anything

Saints row 1 is what the early 2000s hip hop vibe was, street, gangs, and a lot of stuff and baggy clothes, a lot of baggy clothes.

I don't think I ever saw that news-clipping of Lin in Steelport.

R.I.P. Volition 😔

i just realized i forgot a whole skit…. i’m the absolute worst

5:53 He literally smoked his pack

1:40:30 "Apparently it [Crib Customization] only gets better from here, so maybe i will look into it during a later game"
...whoever told you that was lying to your face.  SR2 was the only game with real Crib Customization.
And also has the most varied customization in any game for all types of customization.

Kazuo really made me mad cuz Shogo built up the Ronin to be one of the strongest gangs in steel water AND THE MOMENT his dad comes back every thing goes down hill yet he blames Shogo, even tho Shogo secured a deal with ultor but because kazup didn’t like the deal he said fuck off, I also believe that the boss was 1000% responsible for Carlos’s death, not only did he put a kid in a very important position that he wasn’t ready for, he got petty and did things that really didn’t further the goals I’d the saints like blowing up their trucks and other shite, but I also believe that the brotherhood section was to show the burden of being a leader

537 subs??? Crazy man this is a great video my guy ❤❤❤

Also I know it's pretty obvious now. The four super weapons the hitman activity gives you help a lot. Just meet the Carnale enforcer at the club. Get out of your car and move away from it. Then unload your Platinum RPG set on the Carnales Humvee. It takes a lot of shots but makes the ride home a little more quiet! This is for anyone struggling with that mission!

Something you didn’t mention and is unique to Saints Row 1 is that drugs give you health resistance and alcohol gives you super strength. All mention of it was removed because the esrb wanted the feature removed but the developers didn’t take the feature out. Sadly it didn’t make it in the second one but I think it’s one of the most underrated open world crime game features ever since, almost always, it’s just a cosmetic like Saints Row 2.
