Link's Awakening Director's Cut! [Game Grumps Supercut for streamlined play-through]

John Odd

The playthrough of Link's Awakening but has been made into a supercut - many things have been removed for better flow and enjoyment.

Less back tracking, silly voices/sounds (the very short ones), discussions unrelated to the game (less dated, more focused), very little character dialogue as well (not too great to listen to most of the time).

It still makes me happy that Dan didnt successfully steal the bow bc I know everyone calling him a thief would've hurt him a bit lmao

It’s crazy to me that
a guy who is sometimes good at games
and a guy who cannot operate a contemporary controller have one of the biggest gaming shows. So good.

What the hell, this cuts out a large swath of the jokes that make these LP's fun to watch.

Holy shit, this game is way better than I ever gave it credit for. They turned pots... Links greatest longest standing villain, into a whole boss

I hope they remake the Oracle games next, though I imagine they wouldn't use as bright and clean of an art style. Oracle of Ages/Seasons was my childhood and I think Arin and Dan would love it.

great cut! I love how usually Arin explains the game to Dan, but in this playthrough Dan is such an expert

Your compilations are so well-made, you seem to know exactly what to keep and especially how to keep it fun and positive and skip stuff in the game that's a little repetitive, while keeping the integrity of the conversations. You're great at catching moments when the guys are having a lot of fun, which is the biggest reason I enjoy GG. Well done, my friend.

Dan hits any obstacle: we might want to pause and look this up.

Fun fact, Wart's name in Japan was Mamu.
So yes, that frog was Wart.

Underrated channel. Thank you for your service.

I'm so happy that "What a sizzler!" Lives in Danny's head rent free just as much as it does in mine.

I’m so happy I can watch this while sleeping now without an annoying ass loud “LAST TIME ON GAME GRUMPS” between every episode. This is very nice. Thank you :)

At 43:00, Dan says “Triangle Man beats Particle Man” and then it shows that Universe Man is an active friend haha. I don’t know if the last part was intentional, but cool!

This is the very first game I ever played!!!
Original Gameboy. I got so good at this game that I could do the main quest, side quests, and trade quest along with all the secrets and special items collected by the end for a full 100% completion by the end boss.

I LOVE this game.
