I really think with jewellery you have to choose what speaks to you personally because if you can cherish it for a long time it will mean a lot more

the whole custom engagement ring thing is real, my cousin went through john thomas jewelers in abq for hers and they actually flew the diamond in from antwerp and did the whole CAD rendering so she could see it before they made it. way more personal than just picking something off a shelf

i love timeless jewellery collections, i feel like each person can collect a selection of pieces that speak to them and that suit their personal tastes!! also jewellery is one of those things that you can collect from so many different places and people, and each piece tells its own story and is full of memories

My first piece of real jewelry was a Christmas present from my Grandpa when I was 9. It was a very dainty, yellow gold, ring with a pale purple amethyst heart set in the center. I wore it every day until I was 21. Will forever regret selling it during hard times.

My first earrings were tiny diamond studs when I got my ears pierced. I think I lost them or swapped them when I got my second piercing. Then I got silver triangle earrings with lots of small diamonds, but now one's missing, and the other is feeling lonely.

I really miss my first earrings. Back then, I didn't care about jewelry or think about its future value. Now, I'm building my own collection, and it doesn't matter if something is inexpensive or expensive—it's all part of who I am.

Whenever I look for vintage jewelry I always look for the pieces that have natural colorful little gemstones. Like a mini rainbow but still well sized for daily wear, usually rings or earrings. It makes me happy and makes my outfits a bit more fun. I feel like I will take a bit of a break from shopping for them though. I have plenty of pieces I can rotate through regularly. I love watching jewelry videos like this

The first piece of jewelry i remember are hoop earings with little cupids standing on the hoop. They were 14k gold and a gift from my grandma. I was young, and i lost one of them, so she replaced them with similar ones....then i lost one of those pairs 😂. That was the end of the jewelery gifts

My grandma passed away a few years ago, and i had cupid pendants made from each earring. I gave one of the pendants to my sister. Probably my favorite piece!

As I child I remeber having a silver chain bracelet with charms. I lost some of them, so my mum added a few old charms (from her hippie era probably😀). The bracelet became customized and I loved it even more.
I love vintage and heirloom jewerly. My grandma gave me some of her own jewelry for my birthday. I love those pieces, I keep them as s treasure and wear them occasionaly.

I don't remember my first jewellery piece, but right mow I am a very small and minimal jewellery person. My favourite piece that I own is a small necklace that I designed myself and had the jeweler make it. It is unique and made for me. It was an expensive choice, also because it is solid rose gold, but it is perfect and I love it so much. I wear it every day and I know I will love it forever. The only other piece i wear everyday is my weding ring, that is white gold and also personalised. These are my two favourites forever, and there is very few things that I would wear in addition. Now I am searching for a small collection of small earrings that are perfect for me, they must be solid gold because I have sensitive ears and cheap stuff hurts me 🤷
I absolutely love vintage as well, and the story behind these pieces ❤ so cool that you are starting this vintage shop!

Thanks for talking about jewellery and memories… I love some pieces that I got from my grandparents as a child… for example a set of jugend silver, blue and turqoise butterflies - necklace and earrings… I still love them but today I prefer gold because of my warm colour palette☺️ some current favourites are in bronze, from Finnish Kalevala. Love to hear more about your vintage rings✨

im 17 and i already have few pieces that i wear everyday which have become my signature jewellery and all are solid gold. i love jewellery so much. i have a pair of gold and diamond studs which i got from my parents which i never take off, i also have a gold pendant which i wear everyday which was given to my mom by dad but after i grew up she gave it to me to wear, and finally a ring which is kinda like a signet ring given to me by my grandma which i never take off.

Thank you for the video! I actually do have these first few high quality pieces, but I struggle with what to add to my collection next. I would love for my collection to be able to mix and match freely and get a few different looks. Could you do a video on how to expand your collection in a smart way? Like a capsule wardrobe for jewelry?

Hi lovely where is your jewelery box from

@Alia_q 1 year ago (edited)

I m still not sure if I prefer silver or gold more. I was always loving silver jewellery and I used to wear silver when I was a teenager, but now, for several years I started to like gold jewellery. I like the both of materials and I can't decide what to wear and which color should I buy. Did have someone similar situation?
