OSF HealthCare St. Anthony’s staff sign the final wall separating the hospital’s main campus from its new cancer treatment center, marking a symbolic step toward bringing the facilities together.

In this RiverBender video, hospital leaders and mission partners describe the planning behind the cancer center and recognize the construction teams bringing it to life. Staff, patients and visitors were invited to sign the wall before it was torn down, creating access between the main hospital and the new center. A physician also reflects on waiting for the project since beginning practice in Alton in 2003 and on the center’s goal of providing cancer care for patients in the Alton and Riverbend areas.
