Building wealth isn’t just about how much money you make – it’s about what you refuse to waste it on.

Over the years, I’ve spent money on plenty of things that, looking back, simply weren’t worth it. If I’d understood this earlier in my journey, I believe I could have built wealth and achieved financial freedom even faster.

In this video, I’m breaking down 10 things I’ve stopped spending money on in 2026 – from expensive cars and unnecessary office space to courses, insurance and even buying your own home to live in.

Some of these will be controversial.

But if you want to become financially independent, build a property portfolio and create long-term wealth, you need to start thinking differently about where your money goes.

I explain why I’d rather rent where I live and invest my money into income-producing property, why looking rich can stop you from actually becoming rich, and why every pound you spend should be considered against what that money could be doing for you elsewhere.

A £300,000 supercar might look impressive – but what if that same money could instead buy investment properties producing thousands of pounds in monthly cash flow?

That’s the mindset shift.

Stop spending money to impress people. Stop automatically following financial advice that worked for previous generations. Start asking whether your money could be invested into assets, property, businesses and opportunities that actually move you towards financial freedom.

And number 10 might be the most controversial one of all...
