"my ugly calligraphy" to my eyes looks beautiful even with the imperfections — thank you so much for sharing with all of us!

I do calligraphy in Arabic language and I have some tips I want to share with you !! I find out that the filing printers ink is so good specially the black one and I use a benboo or chop sticks Even better and I use zebra fountain pen I cut the tip of it and smooth it out and ready for fun you can find it Michaels very cheap 3 dollars each because they are disposable !! But they're not disposable for me because I inject them with ink again and I reuse them all the time

What an absolute delight! I felt as if I were a silent companion enjoying this fascinating subject on a beautiful day in the park. Thank you for sharing and inspiring.

Such a wonderful video. I practiced my Spencerian script (which I am just learning) while watching. I once saw a meme that said "Be brave enough to be bad at something new" and I just loved that. It does take a little stepping out to learn anything new, but the rewards are great!

Seeing the mistakes that others make and the process they go through when trying to learn a new skill can often be one of the most helpful things so a big thank you for that aspect of the video. As for the rest it was very nice to see you enjoying the sunshine and wildlife 👍

I'm so excited after I found Medieval Calligraphy: It's History and Technique I decided to check youtube before really diving in. I'm going to be starting Medieval Calligraphy myself, and posting a video about it too. I bought supplies and I hope I can do even half as well as you are with this!

I liked this video very much! Love how you prepared your setting and I liked seeing the first steps of how to learn a new type of calligraphy. Also, I found it very well edited. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for doing these! I've recently caught the bug and your Gothic Textura Quadrata video was one of the first that really started to click with me. (And I really like your take on many of the letters.) It's also nice to see the stacks of practice that go into proficiency that so often go unshown. Anyways, your ways of explaining have really helped me a ton, and just wanted to say thanks for that!

I need to setup my practice to be fun, thank you for sharing how you start a new script! Your start of the new script is invaluable, great work sharing how calligraphers start!!

Thankyou for such an enjoyable and inspirational video. Good to see calligraphy taken outside and the fun it gives (with picnics!) Looking forward to your Carolingian tutorial. Nice to see real practicebooks; too many people hide these and only show a more developed book, but keeping it real is the best way of teaching. :)
