ANOTHER 40K Update AFTER the Balance Patch. Points and Rules changes

After the September Warhammer 40,000 balance patch and points change, Games Workshop was note done. This was not to fix the errors to the app, instead it was to re-re-balance the Space Marine points and change how some detachments work.

Updates, updates, come get your updates after the updates!

@tacojoe7996 5 hours ago

Yo dawg, I heard you liked updates, so we put some updates on your updates.

Someone has got to be in trouble for this. Although ironically my lists have either had no change or gone done in total.

Also you're right about the community keeping this alive.

They confuses Shrike with Calgar. You can have three Calgars. You ought to have three Calgars. Go have three Calgars, NOW!

As i benefit from these sneaky updates, i am pro this. If i got nerfed i would be against them

What I hate the most is GW doesn't tell anyone. The same with the snap shooting 6 no longer being critical hits. A major update just snuck in. So many people will still be playing as if it does score critical hits because not everyone is terminally online.

Give GW a break. They've only been writing rules for 40k for 39 years. That's like no time at all.

My lord, the MFM still shows a last updated date of Wednesday, but the points are different. If you don’t use the app this is a headache.

the new marine points make me pretty mad as a ork player.

Marines absolutely deserve to be more expensive.

@marvinp90 5 hours ago

According to the Warcom article its ok the Space Marines are so much more powerful since there will be fewer of them.....by lowering thier points making it easier to take more. And horde armies can compete by throwing bodies at them........by making their horde units expensive so it's difficult to field a large quantity

Im tired, boss

Is that a "Who's line is it anyway?" reference as a sign-off? Nice

Feels weird seeing points updates without a Twin Lance increase.

The best part of this news was seeing a picture of a Genestealer which was modeled in a style that was NOT updated since the 1980s.

I said it when they announced the marine changes, this needed to be part of the new edition update. Shit is going to be busted for the rest of the year.

@mostlyharmfulll2103 45 minutes ago

Updates are weirdly timed, but I really like that we can use the two purestrain detachments together now.

@oninada 4 hours ago

Yeah, yeah whatever. What matters is that my triple Kayvaan Shrike list is still legal per the GW app.

A second update hit the MFM

@Jallorn 1 hour ago

Note: there's one difference from the preview costs: heavy intercessors are 115 instead of 110

@Towner101 3 hours ago

I printed off the MFM on 10/1 only to have to print off another one on 10/2. If this is a one off deal, it's fine but if this is a constant thing, this is a no go for me.
