My now ex was shooting meth. Its just a horrible existence
I read a article that a man cut his throat in a chemist demanding methadone.
It's a horrible addiction.
Nose literally dripping like a leaking faucet, intermittent nausea, any sudden movement could result in crapping yourself, burning hot and sweating, then shivering cold, then hot again. All while feeling like you have a terrible case of the flu.
Then score just to nod out. Then you realize that it's all starting over again.
Suboxone was my way out.
Methadone just replaced one for the other. With Bupe you can easily taper off and eventually you realize that you don't even need it anymore.
The only way I am still here is that I decided (from a county jail cell) that I had to get honest with myself and everybody else, or I'd be crazy, dead or locked up if I kept doing the same stupid things, and telling the same lies. It wasn't easy, and it took work one day at a time. Sometimes one hour at a time.
