Two unbelievably tiny painted turtles hatched into the world joined at the belly. They’re absolutely adorable, but they’re facing a serious problem. As aquatic turtles, they simply cannot survive this way. In the water, one could easily pull the other under and cause them both to drown.

Their only chance is separation.

Our veterinarian comes to Garden State Tortoise to attempt an incredibly delicate procedure that could give these little twins the chance to live normal lives. Can we successfully separate them and save them both?
