The film follows Mou, Imam, and their vast herd across more than 400 km of the Moroccan desert. Their progress depends on births, scarce water sources, and the young camels that set the pace. Through their journey, the realities of an ancestral way of life emerge: branding, animal care, impromptu poetry, milking—a vital economic resource—but also solitude, pride, and family traditions passed down through generations.

The journey highlights the transformations of the Sahara, where species are disappearing, dunes are advancing, and nomadic traditions are gradually fading away. Between oppressive heat, nights of walking, unpredictable storms, and tribal solidarity, the camel herders reveal a daily life where every action counts for the survival of both people and animals. This voyage underscores the rugged beauty of the desert and the profound attachment to a culture that struggles to endure.
