Just found your channel today. Very interesting knives. I love the little Henckels and the barrel knife. The first custom knife I ever bought around 1999 was a Darrell Ralph Medium EDC. That was the name of the model. Before the term got applied to everything. I owned several EDCs, an Apogee, and an Arclite fixed blade. All customs. I sent a knife to him and he called me to discuss it. You don't get that kind of service very often. The knife community has a lot of great guys in it. I was very sad when he passed away. I don't have many regrets when it comes to knives but I wish I had kept every single one of the knives he made. RIP Darrell. Thanks for sharing.

Those are exceptional knives! I literally said to myself, I wonder if Alec saw these.. when I saw the Shaw Leibowitz knives on Voyles. Love the barrel knife and the Henckles. The placement of the bail at the pivot end is interesting. Enjoyed the video, as usual!

Impressive and very unique unboxing there Alec but of course I wouldn’t expect anything less from you. Just got back in town and this was entertaining to watch! HS and B really got my attention.

Awesome pick ups Alec my mind is blown over the Joseph Rodger’s barrel knife, I’m trying to wrap my head around how they created it, talk about a knife that will never be made again. Very nice Darrel Ralph! Is that an HTM or DDR or a complete custom? I lost one years ago a green blade forums one from the Darrel Ralph blade forums group. I remember Darrel had a hard time with those knives at the time we had them done in 61hrc S90v they held a great edge. Losing that one will always sting 😢. They were anodized a cool green that was hard to do but it came out good at least mine did ❤if I ever see another for sale I’ll jump on it. You can prob still find the threads from Blade forums it had to be over 15 years ago though 😂
