This was my first year having a dedicated reading journal, and this video is a look back at all the spreads I'm used in 2025. I wanted to share my thoughts before I started sharing my 2026 reading journal so everything makes sense, but I'm ready to jump right in!

Hyper focus is a superpower and a hurdle.....My ADHD brain has a VERY difficult time juggling all my hobbies......I go hard on one for months like the others don't exist, rinse and repeat.

You could track your recomandations like the library card in the front. That way it does not take up any space and you can keep it for years in multible journals.

for anyone else struggling with the year number going up (ex. 26) i tend to focus on the first half so ill do 20 in 2026! it just helps keep it from rising every year bc similar to you, im not a big fan of putting pressure on myself to read soo many predetermined books!

I love that you added a space for the favourite book in your book bracket. I had the same problem with book brackets so I stopped using them and I am now trying out the book matrix by Jashii Corrin.
Maybe you could decide on the numbers for your 'books read' and 'pages read' spreads after a month or two? When you'll roughly know how much you are reading 🤔 Well, you already have this year's numbers so I guess those are a great reference point as well :D
Sorry, I am currently setting up my reading journal for next year and I am in this problem solving mode haha
The 'new books' chart made me laugh so hard with how many pages you added 😆 I love that for you 😄

I keep all recommended books in another journal because I have sooo many titles saved all over the place 😂. I like all your trackers and will be trying some out. TFS !
