For the empowered-Q movement speed utilization, i think it was because you step back when your q were empowering so the syndra got psychologically tricked to harresed you without paying attention to your passive so she made a mistakes. So i think to utilize this, we should try to trick the enemy into harrasing by stepping back pretending to be scared so that they think they are gaining prior and then trade with empowered-Q.

Amazing video on Vladimir! I really dislike how the titling went as this is not JUST a combo guide but rather everything with combos and the basics of Vladimir, if this guide was titled as a Basic Vladimir Guide for Beginners then I wouldn't have spent the last 2 days making notes for Vladimir and would have just went straight here!

Thank you so much!
Edit: also small tip: remember to weave aa on enemies, even in your execute combo (flash ult q) you ususally can click aa on them, as it might still go through, activating electrocute or phase rush if you have it ;)

What champ would you recommend banning while playing Vlad?

@Casperfabi 2 years ago (edited)

if you time e+q combo well enough it hides the q animation too as you did around 27:14

Thanks a lot for the guide! I would LOVE to watch something like that when I started learning Vlad.
If I may, I would add one very simple “combo” to the list: q-flash. Q is going out instantaneously and people usually don’t react to that, even on Elite500 stream in Korean GM. Don’t know if it’s on me, but I would never assume it works like that.
And I like to use that with ult also: q-flash-r-e-w is my go-to in teamfights and is super smooth.
Also wanted to ask you (don’t play Vlad often anymore): I know for sure before you could flash buffer Vlad’s ult, but I was not able to do that recently. Have they changed something or I simply got rusty? :)
