Is there a better small-sized parrot?

Linnies aren’t too loud!
They don’t bite— compared to most little biters!
A great apartment parrot, even though the little guys can fly, they don’t choose to much. Instead, they like to hang out with people!

Linnies seem drawn to people, they want to bond. What a sweet thing!

Beautiful parrots too!

They are so cute. 💛🩶

Omg, they sound like a small guinea pigs. It is so cute. It is not annoying, but rather relaxing sound.
People say budgies are very quiet, when for me they sound loud. I think in comparision linnies are nicer sounding.

They are cute. If I will finally have home suitable for pets then I will get cockatiels and later I would also like to have linnies. Hope they would get along with each other. Cockatiels are pretty chill and linnies are friendly and not as much noisy so I believe it could be a good match for friends.

Such cuties! This is one species I considered but they are very hard to find in my area and when you do they are $800+. Do they make louder calls like budgies? How do they do in a mixed flock with similar sized birds? My Parrotlet can be a little nippy. Mine likes to be "cuddled" at bedtime by almost completely enclosing her with my 2 hand and let her fall sleep. She will keep nipping me until I "do it right". It's nice to see she has the skills to properly train me. :yougotthis: When she does nip it's barely a pinch which is an advantage of a small bird.

I am getting one of these little guys soon, i am at home every day so he will have constant company. I discovered them by pure luck. I am in london uk, they are very popular over here and the more i learn about them i can see why.

Very sweet. I love to hear them. Budgies in a group are noisy. And, when they fuss it’s really loud. For the first time in eons I saw a couple of Linnies in a bird store near me. I think they were $500.00 each. Both were sold! The owner told me she has a list of people that want one. It surprises me that they aren’t more popular. Do you offer them mini pellets? I mix some mini pellets with the budgie seed. They pick at the pellets but don’t eat enough to sustain them.
How are you doing? 🙏🥰❤️

Their droppings are very watery like the lorikeets. I have to pass on them. Cockatiel is fine with me.

I can't wait to pick up my Linnie this weekend. Very hard to find but so worth the wait!

What are your thoughts on blue crowned conures? They seem much quieter that the others and more talkative for sure and maybe a little less needy, like chill with ya but not screen if you leave the room? My perceptions based upon one in a pet store and some videos…

@uni3071 2 years ago

Kind of a weird question but how bad are the poops to deal with? I’ve heard they’re large and messy and they can literally projectile poop on the walls, they seem great in every other way but that might be a dealbreaker for me 😅

Hello. Do you ever have Linnie’s for sale?

@amittejpal 4 years ago

hi ma'am, love your videos and watch them all, and love your advice.. i wanted to know how would you compare linnies to crimson bellied conures as pets ? also ma'am please do check out parrot videos from Kolkata (previously Calcutta), India, we have the largest legal pet (birds,dogs,fish) market (Galliff Street pet market) in Asia here, and the birds are priced 1/10th of anywhere else

So cute😍. I have 3 Macaws, 2 boys and a girl. The boys don't seem to get along at all as they fight for Mia's attention so I have to put the away from each other which breaks my heart. Jig and Mars are my sweethearts but they sometimes get into nasty fights that frightens me. I am seriously considering giving out for adoption. Any advice please.
