One other thing... When landing on the eye(from The Vessel) there is a green light orbiting the eyes. If you signalscope zoom in its the masking device made to hide the eye's song.

Mobius devs went all out on continuity.

I never really noticed until now, but I find it funny that if you launch your scout into the eye of the universe before hoping in and losing it, it reappears in the final shot. Nice touch from the devs.

10:06 this is kinda funny to me that they stop hunting the hatchling. I'm just imagining the owlks being like "Oh it's that impossible to kill 4 eyed creature again but he's chill so just ignore him" lmaoooo

The puzzle in the dlc where you need to stand on top of the fire holding the artifact literally caused me to laugh out loud to myself when I figured it out. I was 100 percent sure that wasn't going to work.

I just compared the after credits scene of this one and the original base game one and there's some differences. The obvious inclusion of the prisoner type species, but more importantly, the planet in the 'bottom right' is either gone or hidden by the new land mass which bares resemblence to the interior of the stranger. Interesting.

The trapped in the dream world ending is too sad, so now i declare it canon that you and the owlks become friends and you have movie nights and sleepovers and then people start filming a sitcom about your wacky adventures.

I whish they'd make a 4th ending where you get the core, go to the stranger, free the prisoner from the vault and then you both live forever in the simulation with the few other aliens who survive because their green fire never goes extinct. That would be a nice bittersweet ending, at least you'd have a friend to spend eternity with.

I mean, virtual ending isn’t the WORST thing all things considered. At least you got some new friends to hang out with and maybe even get to learn their language.

When that banjo hit on the third ending:

"Oh God it's so beautiful."

Thanks for this! I absolutely do not want to go through Dark Bramble again for the new ending so this helps a lot.

Outer Wilds: Here's a cute game about space exploration, funny nerdy friends and science

Also Outer Wilds: Y̸͈͓͂̑o̸͎̠͝u̸̼̓͜ ̴͚́͝h̶͈̔ȁ̵̫ṽ̵̥͘ę̴̟̎͋ ̵̧̞́n̷̯̿o̷̻̒̚ ̴̨̈m̶͍̏ô̷͔̎u̵̻̿̄ẗ̸̼́͆h̶̗͝ ̷̰̣̌͗å̸̧͕̕ṇ̷̈́d̵͉̎͗ ̶̦̖̍y̶͙͐ô̶͖̪̎u̴͖͝ ̸̩̿͠ḿ̸͖͖û̶̡̂s̶̲̊̓t̷̩̯̒͆ ̵̤͂͝s̷̞̚c̵̥̖̍r̴̺̞̍̇e̶̺̍a̷̻̘͋̎m̷̅ͅ ̸͓̦̆̀

you know if you can survive on the stranger you could theoretically save your species with gabro

Anyone else try to end the loop, then free the prisoner and spend eternity with your new best friend?

I mean the Hearthian we play as has the emergency tree seeds, which seem to defy the basic rules of how plants function, whilst also providing oxygen and food. So in the first ending the Hearthian could technically survive until they die of natural causes. Who knows, maybe they could find the last still living Nomai, we know they're still out there.

Every time I read ATP, I think of "Adenosine triphosphate" 😂❤ I mean, technically, both versions of ATP are fundamental to powering important processes for life!

@aerothallji6514 4 years ago

Well… I guess The Eye, Prisoner edition is basically the games true ending in a way.

@mizaellaremarshall3311 5 years ago

Man what a beautiful game.

@AninoNiKugi 5 years ago

Kinda sad that disabling ATP doesn't give you unlimited time in the Stranger.
That was one of my first thoughts in the DLC. Didn't try it though until I completed the DLC.
Would have been a great achievement, finish the whole DLC in one "loop" 😆

i never realized that the stranger warps away from the supernova cuz I always mediated when i heard the music start playing

Hooold up. I must have been dumb. It didn't click that in this new world the solar systems are just hollow Planets but with a star at the centre. Can you imagine living on one of those, you fall once by the edge and into space you are flung. The canon ending made a terrifying world even more terrifying to live in. Also with the stranger species it seems all of them are hollow planets, not just a few (there were at least 2 regular planets in the original ending)
