Fun fact: the scene where Mary gets hit with the frying pan by Allison was REAL but it was completely by accident. Oops!!

I was in middle school in Salem while this was being filmed. The whole city was going nuts about the filming and they even used some of the local kids as extras during Sarah’s song.

This movie never gets old, a true Disney classic.

Kathy Najimy is an incredibly underrated comedy actress and voiceover artist

Fun Fact: The scene where Doug Jones (Billy Butcherson) cuts his stitches on his mouth and moths come flying out, those were real moths.

Hocus Pocus is a family tradition in my house. We watch it every Halloween.

"the lady from sister act"

Peggy Hill: Am I a joke to you?!

This film is currently number one in America 27 years after it basically flopped being a summer release.

The funny thing is, In witchcraft, when 'Virgin blood' is referenced. it's not talking about someone who hasn't had sex. it's talking about blood that has never been used in a ritual. So they were in fact saying someone without ties to witchcraft would light the candle and bring them back. but i don't think even the film makers knew this so they played off the joke. but now you know. Cue the star with the rainbow tail.

Love everything about this movie. Not mentioned:  Garry and Penny Marshall appearing as a couple in a hilarious cameo.

Midler made this movie, I couldn’t imagine anyone else as whinnie

This movie will always be a Halloween classic. Enough said.

The boy who plays Max in the movie, Omri Katz, was the main character in a classic cult family tv series, called "Eerie Indiana" in the early '90s. Check it out, it is worth.

Why would you refer to Kathy Najimy as, "that lady that played a nun on Sister Act?" She's a great actress and has co-starred in numerous films.

“Hello Salem. My names Winifred what’s yours?” is a reference to when Bette Midler played Mama Rose in Gypsy

I really miss the 80's and 90's.

Oy Vey! "That Lady who was one of the nuns from 'Sister Act'" is American actress, comedienne, and activist KATHY NAJIMY! Smeesh!

I don't about anyone else, but Sarah Jessica Parker's character was a childhood crush of mine...

One of my favorite movies.    We always watch it during Halloween

I love Hocus Pocus, it is required viewing every October. Its a great family friendly Halloween movie.
