As a Anderson and Shabat owner... who badly wants a Suhr and a JamesTyler...  I want all 4 🤣

Tom Anderson gets my vote. The feeling of a Tom Anderson neck is like nothing else. Those guitars play like butter.

Once you have it narrowed down to a SUHR, a TYLER, a SHABAT and ANDERSON you are really splitting hairs at that point!
You seriously cannot go wrong with any of those!🔥👑  I am not kickin any of those out of bed!😁

I’m a Suhr guy, but I’d take any one of those and be happy.

This has been fun. It's the Suhr for me. Unfamiliar with the Shabat. Would love to try one. The Tyler is so ugly I couldn't live with it.

I own a 30 year old vintage Anderson, James Tyler was a friend of mine, and made my first custom-made guitar. I've known John Suhr for 40 years and I've had several of his guitars. Each one of them brings something different to the game in terms of how it plays or how it feels or how it sounds, but 98% of it is in the hands and then the instrument is what makes it easy for those ideas to come out into the world.

I also currently have a Sire S7 that I really like a lot, which cost significantly less than those other Guitars. But I would never ever sell my Anderson. I wish I still had my James Tyler that he made for me 40 years ago because someone told me that it's in Japan somewhere and it's worth like $50,000. I don't know if that's true or not... John Suhr is a great guy and a really caring builder and he puts a lot of time and energy and thought into how is instruments are made. The same with James when he was alive. Tom is an incredible builder who really listens to the players and try to help them find the instrument that would let them play with ease. I don't think you can really do a shoot out like this without considering that each one of these in a different players hands will respond completely differently. That being said, thanks for the fun video… Just my two cents…

The sounds of the Shabat really grabbed me. Based on just the video I’d take that one! Sounds-wise second for me was Suhr, I think.

All sounds great but the TA is awesome

All 4 please 😁

I love my Suhr Classic S Vintage. Perfect amalgamation of old and modern for me. Can’t put it down.

The Suhr sounds the brightest and best to me which is strange as I used to own one and the pick ups weren’t up to much at all as they were dull much more so than my Strats. It might be the unusual wood on that particular model.

for me, it is the white one. The easier one. I do not want to fight the guitar.

I'd pick the Tom Anderson.  I may be biased though. I worked there 10 years back in the heyday of super strats in the 80's and 90's.

I’d pick the Charvel. 😊

Closed my eyes on the demo's for each - Shabat won for me on pure tone. Lovely

TYLER because they have the good sense to move the volume knob a little out of the way.

They all sound and look great!

Tom Anderson for me.

I am a Suhr guy. It is the feel. I have never heard  of Shabbat.  I am on it. As much as I love Suhr. They are getting Pricey . Looking for an alt brand.

Totally with you on this one.
I went through the same exact journey trying to find my perfect superstrat… and I ended up with a Shabat guitar too.
These guitars are just brilliant.
Thanks so much for this awesome video series!
