Ovens and other kitchen appliances are typically run using either electric heat or Natural Gas. Natural Gas is comprised primarily of Methane and is not gasoline. Gasoline is a refined liquid petroleum product used to fuel engines. The reason Angela is confused is because Gas alongside being a description for a form of matter is used as shorthand for both natural gas and gasoline.
