How lucky are the few of us who can remember these good old days , the young will never know such times

Boy oh boy it's 2023 and we have truly lost our way . If only there was a time machine i know which way i would go .

Dec. 5th 2025 & the UK in General is going down the pan! I'm an old Man now and have seen the best of life and recently some of the worst ! This beautifully done Video just brings me back to life a little, I would just like to say that I,for one, appreciate Old England, I have loved my Country ever since I learnt what the History of our Country involved. God Bless every single person thats reading this and good luck in life because sometimes luck is a handy tool to have. 🇬🇧✝🙏🙏🙏

Programmes like this are pure gold😊

It brought back extremely happy memories for me of shooting in the 1970/80’s. Life was much simpler then. Sadly, the TV companies wouldn’t dream of showing a month in the lives of gamekeepers on a small shoot in today’s urbanised world. Well done to the makers of this video and to David Humphries for uploading it to YouTube. A nostalgic look back at a wonderful time when the countryside, country people and ways were respected. Magnificent!

THANKS FOR BRINGING BACK SO MANY MEMORIES......IM BRIGHTON BORN-ALMOST 75 YRS AGO.

Eye watering reminiscences.

Ah, the good old days. Barbour jackets, Hunter wellies and side by sides....

Hello from Ireland...what a lovely clip from the old days..it's heart breaking to see what has  become of us in 2024

fantastic video we have definitely lost our way 2025. I wish  we could go back to those times .because the future for the young ones of today is very bleak. they will never known those days

Thank you and God bless you!

Thanks for the wonderful video of a forgotten past 👍

It was lovely to hear Beethoven's 6th Symphony play at a much slower pace that modern conductors have it played.   They make it sound as if it were a Post Horn Gallop.

1985? Seems like yesterday! Good to watch 👍

Thanks for this video, great to watch

Fantastic bit of classic TV, it’s a shame we don’t see proper programs made like this today!!  Also very good country programs from yesteryear to watch are Jack’s Game and Out of Town/Old Country!! 👍🏻

Thanks for uploading! I remember watching on TV when it was first made.

Beautiful!

Evocative film.

Thank you for this. Remember going to his shop well. And I shot at Pakefield with the Army cadets a lot! Great upload ….
