Efren Reyes arrives in Los Angeles with some unfinished business. Years earlier, the elite American player waiting across the table had already beaten The Magician in a major money match — and now they meet again on one of professional pool’s biggest stages.

It’s 1996, Efren is 41 years old and playing some of the strongest pool of his career. But this mystery opponent is no ordinary veteran. He was ranked among the top professionals of the previous season, won the Players Championship in Philadelphia, and already knows what it takes to beat Efren under pressure.

This race-to-11 battle is packed with smart safety play, difficult kicks, combinations, creative cue-ball routes and pressure decisions. Watch closely because there is a lot to learn about momentum, risk versus reward, and how experienced champions respond when a match starts getting tighter.
