In this video we will show you approximately 59 years old and historical "Dhurnal Dam" which was constructed in 1967 after the establishment of Pakistan. This is a small reservoir of water in which the rains water collects. This water is used to irrigate the crops and fields. It is said that every year many people died by drowning in this dam. Till now countless people have died by drowning in which men and women are included. The height of this old dam is 68 feet and it has the capacity to reservoir of 7659 acre feet. The water which come after flows from mountains stored in this historical dam. This dam is also a part of the chain of others small and large dams of the region which ensure to supply the water. The water of this dam is used to irrigate crops and fields. The local people often visit this dam for picnic. You can also come here and visit this historical place. This dam is located in a very beautiful place between the mountains. This dam is situated in Dhurnal Village of Tehsil Lawa District Talagang.
