BMW R850r Ride and Review | Motorcycle Review.

The BMW R850r, is it a classic❓, is it too old to appreciate in a time where modern bikes are so sought after❓

All the above questions answered in this review.

Note: in all my videos I leave a mistake purposely, just to see who spots it, in this video I have done the same but as a hint I wish to share the fact its a technical error not a spelling error, I hope that helps 👍😉👍

Wow! Another great trip on the road using your motorbike! Amazing views along the way! I love listening to you when you're riding and you're talking about something. Nice review of the motorbike. Keep enjoying your rides and adventures, my friend.

The R850R does NOT have carburettors - it has electronic fuel injection, just with a manual choke. that's not a choke in the true sense, but the choke lever just opens the throttles slightly for cold starting. All of the 4 valve Oilhead models were fuel injected from when they first appeared in the early 1990's. The 259 Boxer engine is a very reliable, bullet proof design. The 850 cc may be down on power slightly, compared to the 1100 and 1150 versions but the 850 is smoother with less vibration, and is freer revving

I was just looking for reviews of this. Glad I saw one on your channel. I think this bike matches my needs

Nice video and great to see this bike being appreciated. I bought mine 18 months ago as my return to riding bike after 20 years or so. Tbh, it does everything I want, super comfy and easily sits at motorway speed as you showed. I originally intended to get my experience up in it then upgrade, but have found I enjoy the chilled nature and am not chasing the thrill of speed. Reckon now I will just keep it and enjoy the journeys.

.You can do anything as long as you have the passion, the drive, the focus, and the support.

Great review of a good honest solid motorcycle, no frills, just gets on with the job and what a lovely example you found. They may not be the fastest but these days there are so few places left in the UK where you can go faster than the speed limit excess power can be more of a frustration than a benefit and as long as it has enough shove to pass cars then what more do you need ?

Great work. The front is really in line with 'Chips' that we watched a long time ago, but this stands out and it is more of a good think. I remember this model from my youth. Keep doing like this.

My phone does the same thing, it shuts off when it gets too hot. So frustrating. Glad you were able to find your way. I really enjoy riding along. Glad you found a buyer for that. I can see why. Have a safe and blessed day. 🌞

I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this video. I was excited that I had actually been there as well. 😁
I’ve been really looking forward to this bike 🏍 review. It looks fabulous for the age, and even the design style looks great to me!!! 😁👍💖

So many good spots you got. Loved all the way through.

It doesn’t look old, yes, unless I drive it. But I think the best feature that I got interested is how appealing it is to people. It’s like it attracts people. Obviously, your passion and care about this motorbike is extraordinary because the bike looks really handsome although it’s in fact , old.

This video is now over a year old so I think you probably already know by now that your R850r does have fuel injection and not carbs. The choke lever is nothing more than a fast idle lever
