Interesting: at around 07:42 Andy Hutcheson (Imperial War Museum, Military Vehicle Wing) says the King Tiger would still be an impressive fighting vehicle today. The time of filming being around 1998.

The Battle of the Bulge is one of those campaigns where you can see the difference between tactical success and strategic reality. The Germans achieved surprise, but every mile they advanced burned fuel they could never replace. It was a gamble where the odds got worse with every kilometer.

Interesting/informative/entertaining. Excellent still-motion photography pictures 📷/maps. Enabling viewers to better understand what the orator was describing. Special thanks to guest speakers sharing personal information/knowledge. Pertaining to the pros & cons of strength & weakness. Between the allied & axis armies during the battle of the bulge. Making this documentary more authentic and possible. Shortages of fuel severely hampered the panther tanks. Making distant travel to the battle front very difficult.

I won the battle of the bulge myself. I went from 195 pounds down to 180. Now I have to win the other battle of the bulge with the help of the little blue pill.

There's one thing I would disagree with here. The relationship between Montgomery and those US troops over whom he had been given command worked very well. After the Battle, US commanding officers who took part in combat on the northern side of the Bulge wrote very complimentary dispatches concerning the way they had been treated by Montgomery and they admired the way in which they were consulted and included in the battle planning.
