OP4 Settings:
24 fps, 1/50s shutter, D-Log, -2 NR, -2 Texture. For the trip I tried overexposing log footage to +1.3EV (ETTR) but ended up blowing out highlights in a fair number of clips, so I might play it safer from now on and go for say +0.7EV and accept the increased noise in shadows.

OP3 Settings:
24 fps, 1/50s shutter, D-Log M, -2 NR, -2 Sharpness, -0.3EV.

Learn how to shoot cinematic travel videos with the DJI Osmo Pocket... while still being able to enjoy the trip.

In this video, I go through a simple and low-effort approach to creating short cinematic travel montages: the camera settings I’d dial in before leaving, the kinds of shots that are easiest to edit later, and how I approach music, rhythm, and grading once I’m back home.

This isn’t about making a perfect film. It’s about being just intentional enough to turn random travel clips into something you might actually watch again in the future.

While the montage I made was made with the Pocket 4, the tips also apply to any Osmo Pocket, and a lot of the video clips in this video were shot on the Pocket 3.
