Chaos Marine:  "It will take a 100 of you to kill me"
Kreig: "Yes"

At the beginning of trench combat:
"A shovel? Are you going to dig a grave?"
"No, I'm going to fill it."

I like how the kriges at first moved tactically and with efficiency even waiting behind the Astartes because they knew it would be pointless to die there but as soon as hes was in trouble they swapped from "tactility and efficiency" to PROTECT THE LORD CHARGE THE HARATIC!!!!!.

imagine being a superhuman soldier that has been fighting a war for thousands of years just to die to a man riding a horse with a exploding spear

I genuinely think this is the best depiction of Krieg.
They don't throw their lives away but show no fear for its loss.
They use strategy and coordination.
It's not just "hurr Durr shovel I go step on landmine".

Krieg's Positive Attitude

-They have flares! --> Nice. Artillery thanks you to indicates the spot to aim.
-They are so many! --->Nice. Less need to aim, we can charge faster!
-Ambush in the woods! --> Np, Cyberhorses don't fear trees
-"Sir, sir! There is a freacking chaos berserker in the tunnels! --> Our explosives works better in confined environnement. Let it come
-"Sir! Cadians and Marines having trouble against chaos. What do we do?" --> It's tuesday. Clean the field. Routine 34. Don't forget to stare them to reminder who are the epitome of the imperial guard.
-"We lost half our men, but we won!" --> Double ration for everyone tonight!"
-"The ennemi hides the sun, we'll have trouble recharging our lasguns" --->"Yeaaa, but less visibility means easier to get in showel range

A moment of silence for the poor Kriegsman that had to be on artillery duty over being on the frontlines.

Chaos soldier fires a flare to spot the krieg

The Krieg: you just showed your position
*excited artillery noises

"to die for the Emperor is to live for mankind." - some Krieg commissar I'm sure

What were our losses?
We suffered 87% casualties sir.
Slow day.

The Astartes felt very safe with the Kriegers watching over them.

Knowing we lost the cinematography talent of SODAZ forever makes it hurt, man. :'(

Imagine if Krieg had their own native Space Marines…

Kriegsmarines.

Whoever animated this did a REALLY good job depicting the soul, via the eyes, of the tank commander.
In one sense, the tank commander is in awe & admiration of these strange gas masked men. But, in another sense, he clearly finds them vastly more frightening than the men who are TRYING TO KILL HIM.

5:41 he's like you weren't really needed here.

Imperium "Hold the artillery, your firing on your own men!"
Death Korps "Our job is not to save our lives, but to take the enemies, keep firing"

"You charge on horse back forces that just took out heavily armored and armed fighting vehicles"

Kriegsman: happy gas mask noises

The absoulute balls those krieg had to charge at a Khornate Beserker is insane

i love how in any other universe, the people with perfectly functional ranged weapons charging into the big dude with the giant melee weapon wouldn't make any tactical sense, but these are KRIEG guardsmen so it is EXACTLY what they would be doing

In the grim darkness of the far future there are still cavalry charges
