Ejaculatory prayers are short yet profound prayers. They are prayers in which we think of God moment by moment in our daily lives and lift our hearts directly to Him, saying things like, “Lord, help me,” “Come, Holy Spirit,” or “Lord, have mercy.”

However, it is not a correct understanding to think that simply repeating ejaculatory prayers a set number of times will grant wishes, or that they can replace long prayers, Mass, or the Rosary.

The purpose of ejaculatory prayers is not to achieve specific results, but to turn our hearts back to God even amidst our busy daily lives.

In this video, based on the teachings of the Catholic Church, the Bible, and short prayers found in Catholic prayer books, we will examine how to offer ejaculatory prayers, what precautions to take, and prayer texts that can be used immediately in real life.

Try lifting your heart to God briefly when you feel anxious, angry, facing an important decision, or simply grateful. The small moments of your day may begin to transform little by little into prayers.
