Talked to my family members in Rwp/Islamabad today, and nobody knew about the cricket match there tomorrow. My family isn't die-hard cricket fans, but back in the 90s, we knew everyone on the team and watched almost every match. Even as recently as 8-10 yrs ago, when I was still in Pakistan, we knew most players and would watch all major matches (but not all). Today, nobody knew there was a match happening just a few kms away from them, and more importantly, nobody could name a single player beyond the 3-4 (Babar, Rizwan, Fakhar, and Farhan) who have been there for some time.
This is just an example of how people have lost interest in the game....and it is not limited to my family; even in friends' and/or colleagues' chat group, it is no longer a discussion.

Ali Raza and Ahmed Daniyal are match winning fast bowlers. They deserve to play for Pakistan ODI and T20 team.

Saim Ayub Hesson ko apni 50 percent match fees deta hai taki Hesson usko matches khilaye... Aur saim Ayub ne yeh Trick Shadab Khan se sikhi hai aur Shadab Khan ko yeh Trick Kudrat ka Nizam Saqlain Mushtaq se pata chali.

Assalam-o-Alaikum Bhai. Sanaullah Khan,
I hope you are doing well. I regularly watch your cricket analysis and really appreciate your work as a sports journalist.
I have a humble request. Since the Pakistan Tri-Nation Series is taking place in Lahore, I have a strong desire to attend one of the matches at the stadium and, if possible, get a chance to meet some of the Pakistani players.
If it is possible through your media contacts or sources, I would be extremely grateful if you could help me arrange a match pass, or two passes if possible, for any of the upcoming matches.
It would be a very special and memorable experience for me. I completely understand if it is difficult, but I sincerely hope you can help me with this request.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration. ๐ต๐ฐโค๏ธ๐
