Appalling behaviour from the police licensing team.

This is happening to hundreds of people that no one even hears about, they are covertly stripping all the guns away

Disgusting behaviour by the police.

Absolutely abysmal behaviour. So much for license fees being used for the good of the sportsperson!:_FchanlLogo:

What a bunch of BS this gentleman had to go through; This is how they lower the gun numbers, trying to make it as unappealing and troublesome as possible

Its disgusting that the police should reduce themselves to trickery and deception.

Never ever take any “deal “ offered in these cases .They will refuse your ticket on a technicality and that’s that for  5 years .Fight the case with head high and be polite to everyone .I won my case against Wiltshire police .

We need a judicial review about the dirty tactics the police use against innocent people.

I am shocked by the blatant dishonesty of the police, but in a way I’m not surprised. Disgusting.

A judge with common sense we need more like her

People need to be sacked over this

Brilliant interview ,well done.

I had a delay in my SG&FA application due to my "dishonesty" in not declaring a PENDING conviction. After paying for a data protection request it was someone with the exact same name and date of birth not responding to a speeding fine after driving a purple Renault Laguna 70 miles from my address.
Im not exactly John Smith!!

Kent police illegally grabbed my guns during my divorce which came about because I was at the start of becoming disabled due to an aggressive form of arthritis they initially told me that it was due to the fact that I was having health issues and my disability until I pointed out that they were acting against the law regarding the disability discrimination act 1995 and the Equality act 2010 by treating me differently due to my disability. They then said it was because I was in the process of a divorce and that was that, I never had any issues while I was a firearms and shotgun certificate holder, the only reason they refused to renew my application was because my wife wanted sole custody of our shared property so she lied to the police to try and gain ground in the divorce even when I proved she lied Kent police still refused to give my licences back to me.

Well done.

Excellent interview & I'm glad it all worked out in the end. Now the courts have to ask why the police are disrupting people's lives & waisting court time, when there seems no other reason than they don't want members of the public owning firearms.

Never trust British coppers or any cops anywhere.

I had a friend of mine who had his license revoked buy Devon & Cornwall police and they told him if it was up to the chief constable there wouldn’t be a single firearm in cornwall.

The “certificate” is a piece of paper issued after a risk assessment to determine if you would be a risk to have access to firearms. Unless that risk assessment changes, then the date on that piece of paper is irrelevant.

The problem is they suffer no backlash to this BS, they lose one appeal when a person like this doesn't fall for their dirty underhanded trickery and then go "oh well better luck next time" There needs to be better deterrents in place, if other professionals have to worry about being taken down for malpractice why should the police be infallible?
