It's like I am addicted. I can't stop watching random people playing the game, having the same feelings and reactions, seeing them growing to the story.

Everyone wants to see the Gommage until it happens, and then the look of horror on players faces is chef's kiss priceless.

This game is indeed art, as you said.  This game is an amazing experience.

Maëlle is 16 years old, because the age of the gommage is a countdown.
Emma is the mayor of Lumière.
Gustave is chief engineer of Lumière's Dome Shield.

As soon as they said they're both violinists, I got the biggest smile on my face. This is going to be an absolute treat! (The soundtrack by itself is already great, but in context it adds soooo much)

The prologue is so devastating. The whole day is utterly killing Gustave, but he hides it for Sophie's benefit, and she is scared to death, but is putting on a brave face, for him. You can really see it in their facial expressions. Like the pained expression on his face when she steps behind him after she says that she wanted to see him in his uniform, because he knows that she won't be around that evening to see him. So well written. So well done.  This game is a masterpiece.

This is one of those experiences that will stick with you forever. 3 months later and I'm still processing what I just went through. Will be watching these~

"Elle vous regarde la peintress" = She's looking you, the paintress !

I still can't believe how good this game is, I complete it over 2 months ago and I still can't let this game go.

It’s so funny when Maelle says congratulations you beat a teenager and theyre both so happy clapping at the same time 🎉🎉🎉😂

I can cleary say your in for one hell of a ride. Your emotions will be all over the place. This is not only Game Of The Year but in many people's opinions, its a once in a lifetime event of a masterpiece through its story and your experience. Hold on and take everything in this game in. C.O.E33❤

Get ready for the greatest game you will ever play. I absolutely love this one. It's a work of art. Enjoy the journey.

35:11 : This NPC Richard is blind that why he can "smell" Sophie. And by the way, it's the name of the real father of Guillaume Broche the original créator and CEO of Sandfall Interactive. Later, the 3 children, who have as Professor Gustave, have the name of the 3 children of Richard so Guillaume was one of them.
1:04:23 : The NPC "Amandine" is also the real name of one of the dev who work specialy on 3D Hairs. In an interview, she said that she troll the gamers by giving the first bad hair cut just to see their reaction and she laugh alot.

35:08 not many catch it, but richard is blind. that's why the first thing he comments on is the smell.

I love watching the two of you play, I think it's quite rarer these days to find people who truly enjoy the games they are playing or aren't distracted by the chat during the live stream or something like that. Seeing someone dissect and analyze every little thing is just so good, especially cause I do that and I love to watch these videos simply to see people reaction to the same stuff I reacted, to see if you maybe have a different opinion on something or maybe the same and that's really fun!
Yeah I also agree with your husband, these days trailers are crazy. This is why I avoid them, they just spoil so much, and all these in advance demos of combat gameplay... It just reveals so much I stray away from all of that as far as possible. xD
I know I had to edit this comment multiple times haha, I just forgot to say in the end, this is such a beautiful masterpiece of a game, I am glad I got to play it.

Also the developers from the game announced that there will be another Clair Obscure game, they sort of started the game series which will be called Clair Obscur, but this specific one is about Expedition 33, so the next game will not necessarily be sequel, but something else in the same universe or so, so yeah those are the good news, we can expect a new Clair Obscur: game

You have such a healthy way to speak to each other! <3

every thing will be explained...in time

This is going to sound weird to some... But this game has helped me deal with a lot of grief associated with my mother's passing that I didn't realize I was still drowning in. The more I play, the more I see my pain in ways that set it free. I don't think I have ever experienced this in movies, in music, in my own artwork (I'm a painter). But this... This hit me in the center of my spirit in a way that showed me so much about my own self, my own journey. I'm also 35, so by game timelines, I would have gommaged. That REALLY made me sit down for a while and think.

It's a masterpiece. I don't know if they realized how precious and profound this game is....

There's a lot to love about this opening sequence to the game. A lot of haunting and emotional bits. But there's one part I never see mentioned, and it's tiny, only for a second. Margot's scream when she gets grabbed is insanely chilling to me, the way she suddenly becomes distant. It's blood curdling. Absolutely A+ voice acting on that scream, she really sold it.

The game's full of moments like that. Little voice quirks or facial expressions that aren't the spotlight or in the middle of some big scene that just all work together. It's like the opposite of the saying "death by a thousand cuts." The game has its big, beautiful, heartwarming and heartbreaking moments, but it doesn't forget the little moments between them.

Been playing games since the spectrum zx with my dad back in the very early 90s...this cracked my top 5 ...it took me back to teenage gaming and a feeling I thought I'd lost..it was brilliant
