Special Thanks to Jason Fox!

This is a great one, with original commercials and hosting segments with Gary Coleman and Steve Allen! However, this tape is missing the beginning and ending hosting segments. A portion of the intro of the film was missing too, so I have spliced it in from another copy. Also included a commercial advertising the broadcast that came from this video but is currently private:
Video

According to Christopher Harper on a Facebook group, regarding the ending host segment that is missing on this tape:
I've been looking for the original for YEARS! I'm 51 now but was a kid when I saw it. I remember the ending when Steve told Gary he'd drive him home. As he opened the door the Horseman was there. He walked in and laughed and rode off on his horse. I slept in my Nana's bed and had nightmares for weeks! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

--Hopefully it turns up!

I had this copy up a few years ago, but my channel started receiving copyright strikes from all over the place. Youtube seems more chill these days, so I've reuploaded this and other content.

I would also like to thank you for posting this complete as it aired! I watch this a few times a year in the Fall season, but to now view it as it was broadcast (& not one pharmaceutical commercial in sight, those were the days!!!) is quite a treat. I long to go back (sigh)…

Thank you so much for posting this. I remember I couldn't wait to see this on tv when i was a kid. I watch it every year around Halloween taken from a VHS i found at goodwill and it doesn't even matter that they got the season the story takes place wrong being in the winter instead of autumn. What makes this so exciting is that this seems to be uncut. I haven't seen the uncut version since i saw it at 15 years old and the original commercials take me back to 1980 all over again. It's a shame this will probably never have a DVD or Blu Ray remastered release. It would be so cool to see a crisp clean version. Thank You!

Gary Coleman and Steve Allen! I remember watching this the night it premiered. I was a freshman at E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville, N.C.
P.S. Did I just see Mr. Woodman?

I'd take this over the Tim Burton version any day!

Yo...commercials were awesome back in the days because they were just so stupid. I miss them. The BK Chicken one is the best by far and the Jello commercial had Corey in it before Michael Jackson made him go crazy . Poor Jimmy Carter.

Cheers,
