Sci-Fi Fridays was a real thing. SG1, SGA, and BSG. Great memories.

She was awesome in Riddick!

The "Adama" maneuver is still memorable to this day.

RIP Richard Hatch. No-one carried a torch for BSG for longer than he did. Arguably his Second Coming project helped this show to emerge. Honored to have been his friend for a decade… miss you, frakker.

Katee was also awesome on the deeply underrated show LONGMIRE. A must watch.

BSG allowed me to show my daughters "why" mommy had to go to war. When I got home from deployments my young pre-teen girls would sit down with me and we watched it together. My youngest looks exactly like how the character "Starbuck" looked, hair cut and all, and looked like Katie when she became 20-24yrs old. She passed away 2 months after meeting Katie at a ComiCon on the West Cost: both Katie and my daughter born and raised in Oregon. Thank you Katie for talking to her when she was sick and dying. You made her day that day, and I have the autographed picture of you as Starbuck that you gave her. BSG will always have a place in my heart for this reason. 🇺🇸❤

Bears, beets, battlestar galactica.

I'm one of those vets who loved this show while deployed in Afghanistan 2004-2005 and 2010-2011.

That's so awesome that she mentioned the military. I had the first 2 seasons saved to a USB drive during my deployment. I watched it whenever I had an opportunity, which wasn't often, but I always looked forward to when I could. Hands down, the best science fiction series of the early 2000's.

She was sooooo good in Longmire. She's great.

Battlestar Gallactica was an amazing show, happy Joe got Katee on!

Battlestar Galactica 1978 was actually written before Star Wars came out. It was a screan play, by Glen A Larson, under the title, "Adam's Ark". No studio wanted to touch another Sci Fi series until Star Wars became a blockbuster, and so the script was fished out of limbo, retitlled, "Battlestar Galactica". John Dykstra, who supervised the effects on "Star Wars: A New Hope" al s o did the effects for Battlestar Galactica, and used the same motion control camera equipment, which is why the comparison to Star Wars always gets made.

Kudos to Katee for mentioning Stargate. Battlestar Gallactica was a masterpiece, but also the Stargate franchise is legendary as well. Each sci-fi show has its place in history and we can (and should) appreciate them all for their creativity and impact.

The Expanse may be the most underrated sci-fi series. A Grade stuff.

Farscape, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica and The Expanse, best of the era.

Her and Adama were literally the best parts of the show, in an ensemble of the best Sci fi actors the world had to offer. I’m so happy Joe is finally getting her on here.

33, the first episode, stands as one of the greatest hours of episodic tv, ever.

Sackoff's chemistry with Jamie Bamber was always amazing. The complexity of the relationship between Kara and Lee--the unrequited love, the mutual admiration, their conflicting feelings about his father, the anger and guilt surrounding Zach--all of it so well acted--I was hooked by that scene when Lee shows up alive after it looked like he was killed on Colonial One. "I thought you were dead." "I thought you were in hack." Their acting just tremendous. Also Tigh with Lee was also so great. I was soooo hooked.

Big Katee Sackhoff fan here. I love every character she has played. For some reason, her role as Dahl in "Riddick" really stands out for me.

I miss Longmire.
