Why French Students Are Pissed and What We Can Learn From Them

We can all learn from these brave students. They’re showing us in real time how important it is to take action and hold our politicians accountable even if we are hopeless. They are focused, organized, and have nothing to lose especially bc they’re inheriting a burning planet with AI taking their jobs and water. They have every right to be pissed . We should all learn from them and support them . And we should also be ashamed that we didn’t do more to prevent this from happening to them and us and our world. We have to stop these billionaires and remember there are more of us than them. Thank you teens of France for showing us how lazy we have become

It seems like the whole world does not care about kids at all. This world is not safe for children.

France spent billions on hosting the Olymics but can't invest in their schools? The students are spot on to protest.

My daughter laments living through a major historical catastrophic event every day. She's getting numb by the family ann!h!lat!on every 5 days, school sh00tings, soft target attacks. It's k!ll!ng her on top of her initial undiagnosed depression.

I stand with the French children ❤
They are fighting for their life and future
The circumstances are catastrophic ❤

Wow wow wow. I live in the US and had no idea French children faced adversity like this. I think because I hang out in left-leaning circles, we have a VERY idealized idea of what Europe is. These children deserve so much better and I'm so proud of them for protesting. May they win and get justice!

so glad that these kids are using their voices and fighting back, as it’s long overdue. im 21 and went to school in the french-speaking part of belgium from 11-18, i remember being stuck in an overcrowded, hot ‘étude’ period when we wouldn’t have class for up to 5 hours straight because teachers weren’t showing up. we were responsible for making up the material in our own time, which often wouldn’t be provided to us until the teacher returned so we would just be packed in like sardines to this room with nothing to do and shushed if we dared to speak and couldn’t even stand to stretch our legs. no library, only the girls restrooms would be locked between class periods so you always had to find someone to open it for you, mice in the winter and no heating so it’d be freezing…. i could go on but hopefully things change soon thanks to these inspiring children.

Boomers love to say how kids today don't care enough to protest, and refuse to consider that these omissions by the media are part of the propaganda.

Only 865 views on this video after 3 hours. They are definitely suppressing this from the algorithm.

06:10 Cops have never protected people and they work as intended. They exist to protect the system and therefore also billionaires. Never trust a cop, their DV rates speak volumes.

I’m so sorry to hear how militarized the response is to school children, I had hoped this was more an issue in the USA than France. It is disgusting that schools are so under resourced in a country that claims to espouse the opposite.

These poor children and teens. It breaks my heart everyday that I had kids. It was the Obama campaign years. I really HAD hope for change. 😢😢😢

I had no idea high school in France, of all places, was that bad.

I appreciate your perspective on what is happening in France.

No, police are not there to protect the people – they are there to defend state power.

The regular people of the world have to take down the Oligarchy! We must fight for human rights and protect our planet! All of us are human beings and we can all help each other. Together we can survive and make changes for the good of our planet and humanity!

Police forces all over the world in these supposed democracies are all the same: they are the enemy of the people. None of us live in democracy. None of these governments serve the people. Everyone needs to rise up until we get effective democracy. This is nothing but decades of bull 💩. We never had them. Let's get them.

Thank you for talking about what's happening in the lives of the young in France. I think these kids are showing the world what needs to be done everywhere. The world is being run by governments catering to the rich and destroying our world, which is the world they will inherit, they deserve better.
