Monique Christine Daniels disappeared in 1992 at just 15 years old, but her parents waited almost two years to report her missing. While her family pretended to receive calls and letters supposedly written by her, her siblings were forced to remain silent, and all her photographs gradually disappeared from the house.
In this video, we analyze the unsettling unsolved case of Monique Daniels, a teenager from Moore, Oklahoma, whose disappearance was shrouded in conflicting accounts, fabricated evidence, and childhood memories that only began to surface decades later.
Her sister Angelique discovered there was no police search and ended up confessing that she had been forced to write letters pretending to be Monique. Years later, several of the siblings began to recall an argument, a fake fishing trip, a barrel of oil, and the strange behavior of their stepfather, Charles “Chuck” Daniels.
Did Monique really run away from home, or did her family cover up what happened that night? More than three decades later, no one has been charged, and her whereabouts remain unknown.
