Just got to where you mention the GoPro labs firmware and the histogram at 21mins. Where do you get it? Does it conflict with the standard firmware?

The film was excellent! And thank you for the footage files, quite filmic! I just had a question @7:37 was there some Resolve post background blur added on this wonderful shot for shallower DOF or an ILS Cam used? Or was it just the 2x Zoom/Low Sharpening — If you want to elaborate on of course, you don’t have to! Hah. Thanks a lot

Nice to s=meet someone that doesn't think "cinematic' is a setting on the camera! BTW How did you get the histogram display? I can't find it anywhere in the menus, or on the web.

Since action cams don't have adjustable apertures the stabilization relies on adjusting shutter speeds. ND filters slow shutter speeds, thus confounding good stabilization. Are you getting odd artifacts in your clips when you use an ND?

Thanks for the video! A bit of a dumb question, but if I 2x zoom on a 4k resolution, is it still lossless? Or do I need to set the resolution to 8k first then use the 2x zoom to get it to be lossless?

Everyone is critical about the focal length of two feet. Who takes action videos at two feet or less anyway? It is a wide angle action camera for heavens sake. My very expensive full frame digital camera doesn't take close-ups with a wide angle lens in place either. So what do you expect from a cheap $600 dollar camera?

this a great video. A couple of things. 1. I assume the plugin only works with the paid version of davanci. Will you provide suggestions on how to grade for those who only have the free version. 2. Where is the mic mounted to capture ambient sounds. Everyone only talks about these mics for vlogs but I am into hiking and want to capture footsteps & nature sounds.
