Oh man, this was heartbreaking. I wish Mark the best, he was her rock on her difficult journey and that is something not many men do. The statistics' reality is that many men leave their wives while they are fighting for their lives. RIP beautiful and optimistic Paige!

So sorry for your loss. My mom was diagnosed with cancer they gave her 6 weeks that was September she said God is going to give me another Christmas with my kids and he did she did not pass away till February tgis coming February makes 30 years oh how I miss my mom but I have a Blessed hope and I will see her again in Heaven no more cancer no more pain. Praying for God's comfort for you.

I hope Mark is able to find happiness again. What a heartbreaking journey. Cancer is terrible. My husband was diagnosed with cancer about 3 1/2 years ago. He had so many treatments and procedures and, a year ago he had a life changing surgery followed by eight more months of infusions. Right now, he’s cancer free. I hope he continues to be.

I shed so many tears watching this tragedy. I have not lost my husband, and I did not lose my mother to cancer, but because of her I can relate 100%. I was her caregiver, and I lost her to Parkinson's disease. It stole the health from her body, the light from her eyes, and the vibrant, smart, wonderful woman that she had been from her mind. She didn't even know who I was by the time she passed. There are some diseases that are too cruel to believe exist. The pain is deepest for those left behind, because, thank God, those who suffer from them are barely aware at the end. May God bless you, sir, for being her rock and her loving husband until and beyond the very end.

No one should ever have to go thru this amount of pain and hope...as much as it hurts to let someone go and have family watch on, this isn't a peaceful death. That poor husband watched his wife, as little as she could speak, wither away. He will be forever traumatized.

Rest in peace Paige. I'm so sorry for your loss sir. I lost my grandmother in July this year, in a very similar way. I watched her fade away slowly, piece by piece each year until she was finally gone.
