The Tawang Jaya Premium train operates the Semarang-Tawang-Pasar Senen round-trip route. This train offers two classes of service: Executive and Economy. In the 2025 Railway Travel Chart (GAPEKA), the frequency of the Tawang Jaya Premium train is increasing, with a rolling pattern of trains with the Menoreh train on the same route. There will be a total of six trips per day between the Tawang Jaya Premium and Menoreh trains.

This time, I took the Tawang Jaya Premium train, which departs the latest from Jakarta, making it the latest regular train departing from Jakarta, at around 11:50 PM WIB. During the trip, you'll be provided with amenities such as blankets, footrests, power outlets, and folding tables. The executive class trains are used in mild steel executive class cars from the Bima Railway. The journey was quite comfortable, and I slept soundly. Despite departing nearly midnight, the passengers were very busy and safe.
