Each of the protagonists of the game are associated with an instrument that shows up in their related themes!

All the main characters are new in this game but there's a few characters and references from Fire Emblem Three Houses. It takes place in the same world but in a different continent. Three Houses was more Europe while Fortune's Weave is the Mediterranean region.

The music is excellent. Each character has a route you can play and they come with their own supporting cast. They all meet throughout the game and interact at different points.

All of the characters on the screen are the main characters. Theyre all the protags, though they are not all good people.

Pale Raven’s Landing is still my favorite battle theme from this game. It’s the first battle theme for Eshmel and it captures the whole theme of the end of the world and hopelessness contrasted against Eshmel’s arrival who’s supposed to be the savior.

Marth only shows up in FE1 and FE3 and their remakes. The real poster child is Anna who is essentially the Cid of Fire Emblem, showing up in pretty much every game in some fashion or another.

Man we gotta get Jesse on the prologue battle theme “Pale ravens landing” the emotion in that piece is incredible.

The second i saw Jesse started to react to Fortune's Weave, i thought Jesse NEEDS to listen to bloodstained arena. That acoustic guitar goes crazy in that song. And for reference its one of the boss themes and it does the job very well!

Makes sense you’d think it sounds 1v1 for Bloodstained arena, it’s the boss theme (at least for the arena portion of this game haven’t gone further)

As for Ledas her theme is called Storm of Petals because one of her monikers is the “Rose of Caelus” and her team name is “Rose Tempest” she’s also the woman in the top left of the image.

Something I love is each of the 4 main characters and each of the 4 sub main characters have unique themes and instruments associated with them, with the main 4 being Flute (Cai the boy on the bottom left) Vihuela for Leda (top left) electric guitar for Dietrich (top right) and an instrument that sounds like to the best I can describe that a snake charmer would play for Theodora (bottom right)

I think Jesse would adore the Anatolia paralogue theme

Marth is definitely the poster boy for the franchise, but he doesnt appear in most games. Only a handful of games share cast members between entries.

So, the music of Fire Emblem: Fortunes Weave is composed by Takeru Kanazaki, with his most notable works being the Fire Emblem series, as well as Wario Ware. Regarding Fire Emblem, he was the main composer of Echoes: Shadows of Valentina, Three Houses as well as Fortunes Weave. While he isn’t the main composer of Fire Emblem Engage, he did help with some music in that game, mostly songs from the Solm Region, like “Bright Sandstorm”, a song that you’ve previously reacted to.

As soon as Nintendo released some songs from this game to the public, I knew I just had to put a request in. I figured these two songs both have a relatively similar sound and would fit well together in a video, and I’m glad you see you enjoy them as much as we all do.

The scale of Fortune’s Weave is absolutely crazy, the characters and their stories are amazing, and the music is definitely soundtrack of the year worthy imo.

If this game doesn't win the Game of the Year award for music, I'm going to start a riot.
Honestly, this game's music is by far the best of any game released this year.

This game has been such a long journey and ive been loving it. Ive played 2 of the protagonist and am doing ledas route which storm of petals is awesome. Currently 110 hours in and not even halfway done

Leda was actually my first protag's story I went through (Currently going through Cai's, the blue haired boy at the bottom left). Man, was her story a ride. My next protag will be Theodora (the woman at the bottom right) and then Dietrich (the guy you say looks evil). Honestly this game has been so good, even since your last FE video. Been trying to take my time a little more so I can really savor it, but I think I should have it fully beaten by the time the game rewards roll around. This and the remake of Trails in the Sky SC are definitely my GOTY contenders.

Anna could be a poster child. She is a redheaded merchant that appears in almost every Fire Emblem game. Even in Tokyo Mirage Sessions.

Yessir, I was hoping you’d react to some of the other battle themes. Man, this game has an unhealthy grip on my life rn, and the soundtrack is no exception. Glad to see you here more of it.

Also, while Marth is kinda the poster child for the Fire Emblem series cause of Smash Bros, I’d say that the real poster child of the series is a red haired girl named Anna. She’s kinda like the equivalent of Cid in FF, or Vandham in Xenoblade, where there’s a different version of her in nearly every game in the series. She’s usually a merchant, but in this game, she actually has a lot more plot relevance than I thought she would.
