Thank you, Dr. Roman. I’m 77, mail, and was diagnosed with muscle invasive bladder cancer a year ago. Since then I had my bladder and prostate removed, preceded by four months of chemotherapy with cisplatin and gemcidibine. Note I was never a smoker. So if this type of cancer can happen to anyone. Post surgery, I was offered a Natera blood test to determine any progressive cancer disease using DNA. The first test was negative. The second test was positive. A PET scan confirmed by cancer had reappeared. I am now going through immunotherapy with.Padcev and Keytruda.
I realize these drugs will not cure the cancer, but will simply delay its advancement. Thank you for these informative videos. They give me information to ask of my oncologist during my 10 minute discussions with him each month. Again, thank you. I apologize for the misspellings

02/24/2026 at 7:30 am I am scheduled for surgery.. I'm going to ask not to be asleep for the procedure. But They are going to put some dye in a look for Cancer in my tube going into my Liver.. Left side especially.. So far it's been low Risk and every 3 months I see my Urologist..

I’ve been diagnosed with SCC bladder at least stage 1. Unfortunately 1st Turbt didn’t have muscle to test. I have ct scan and 2nd Turbt to try to get the muscle layer for testing. My oncologist is still recommending radical cystectomy even if non muscle due to the aggressive nature of SCC. Would you agree with that and where can I find more information about survival of SCC post radical cystectomy. This is so very scary.

Dr Roman , my mother 82 is a metastatic uroethical cancer (HER2+) and currently on trastuzumab deruxtecan … what other chemotherapy treatment is possible or that it .. no more treatment ?😢

Another great video, thanks doc, I laid emphasis on the evaluation of the various available imaging tests. Question: Bladder cancer (in whatever stage) is treated by an urologist or an oncologist (or a combination of both)? One additional remark, metastatic cancer (generally), can be treated-fully harnessed, after conventional means have failed, with other (alternative) approaches.

Doctor, Nivolumab and Pembrolizumab are given only to patients with a high PD-L1 score, or regardless of PD-L1 levels

thank you. We are.in Japan, wife hae breast cancer 3 years ago, right breast was removed but they did'nt do any metastasis tests (to bones, etc). cancer has spread to bones, kidneys and bladder. As of early July 2026 she is on CDK4/6 Versinio. Is there any hopes for her?
