Fun video. The big takeaway is that whichever brand you are loyal to, you will get a truck that is a towing beast. After 14 years driving a 2011 F250 Power Stroke I just upgraded to a 2025 F450. Wow. What a difference towing a 5th wheel RV. These new diesel trucks are just amazing.

Now lets see a 6.4, 6.6, 7.3 Gas HD towing drag race. I bought a 7.3 because of the way it drove and numbers on paper. I would like to see them side by side

It's crazy to see what pickups have become. I believe we are about topped out as far as capabilities due to the licensing restrictions for the weight. Maybe now they can focus on making them reliable 🤷‍♂️🤞?

That Powerstroke puts down basically all its rated 500/1200 to the wheels from edge's dyno testing, and it really shows here. That Tremor's on Duratrak tires, mine were garbage, took em off shortly after I got it.

Should try it in 4wd Auto to help with wheel spin.

When not in tow/haul the GM will start out in 2nd gear.

Good races. Kinda goes to show that combination is the most important. I drag race and have been beaten by cars with less power partly because it puts it down better and partly because of combo. I own a Chevy and a ford so don’t really care about the brand wars. Ppl tend to believe in what they have at the time and that’s cool.
