Die Griffe haben im Vergleich zum umarex-colt mehr die org. MaΓe, da keine CO-Kapsel rein muss ! Und der Hahn steht auch nicht so weit ab wie beim Umarex ! Sehr schΓΆn!
I got the Umarex version thinking it would be better looking than the King Arms but I may have been wrong. This one has a better looking ivory imitation, the grip is not oversized to fit the CO2 cartridge, the hammer rests fully inward and the rounds look better. Hmmmmm. But the internet said the King Arms version is very bad like inaccurate and leaky. Although looks is very important to me so I may have made the wrong choice.
Historically, Colt offered two main barrel lengths; 4 3/4" and 7". But, when these were current tech, Colt would also take custom orders so you could get pretty much whatever length you wanted to pay for. One other minor thing: if you were a cowboy--as opposed to a gunfighter--the practice was to load one chamber, skip one, then load the rest. This left you with 5 rounds and an empty chamber under the hammer. Which was an important safety practice. With airsoft, probably not critical. Just depends on how you want to play. :) Interesting offering from King Arms, thanks for showing it to us! Now I'm wondering if there is a Winchester lever action that would take the same shells... Could be quite a fun set up. :)
I bought this revolver 2 years ago and was thoroughly disappointed. Out of the box it had two major issues. The cylinder would not cycle properly and when gassing up it just came straight through and out the barrel. I was offered a replacement but declined. I settled on a Umarex S&W M29 instead and which is fantastic.
fun fact: because the Airsoft version does not set of the cartridge, making it expand slightly into the cylinder is the reason the cartridge will slide out by itself..
