Full EWAN MITCHELL INTERVIEW on Aemond in HOUSE OF THE DRAGON | Better quality!

Jonatan Blomberg from MovieZine

I was very fortunate to meet Ewan Mitchell in Paris for this interview just as the second season of House of the Dragon was about to premiere.

There is a previous version of this interview released with very bad audio. This is a new version with better quality and with the picture entirely centered on Ewan throughout the interview. Meaning some of the shots that previously was on me now show his side completely while listening to my questions.

I don't have a new interview with Ewan this year, but a bunch of other from his cast members.

This is with the Dragonseed actors:
Weapons of Mass Destruction with Clinton, ...

This is with Tom Glynn-Carney and Matthew Needham:
Tom Glynn-Carney on transforming as Aegon ...

And I have a bunch more coming that has spoiler reactions/answers from the actors - like Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Abubakar Salim, Steve Toussaint and Gayle Rankin.

He's got Aemond nailed down. Everything he describes comes off on the screen. Aemond really does have that 80's horror movie vibe.

its been so enjoyably intriguing to dive into his mind & thought process when it comes to acting/embodying a character and bringing it to life. so glad to see him doing interviews!

I don't think Ewan realizes that his chin adds more intensity than the eye patch. Nobody ever brings it up in an interview. I would. You gotta use what you got and he's got it.

It's cute that the men of Westeros have strong jawlines just like Batman. Hahaha

I just click onto any random Ewan video and play it as ambience.

I almost think he looks better this way. Im still gonna watch this and see more scenes of him but i think a fire to avenge the wrongs of the past that never ceases, ambition and need to feel strong would come first for him. A need for a family who would have protected him would be there too but i see "mommy issues" as something who would fit aegon more, while it would be an oversimplification of the fascinating potential that deep and complex dynamic and individuals have (sadly they didnt went far enough on it).

Is this an old interview from season 2? Or did we just get spoiled for episode 4? The intimacy coordinator sounds like season 3.

I read Fire and Blood and I didn't see any mommy issues in Aemond. The relationship between Rhaenyra and Alicent is much colder in the book (it gave me the impression that whoever wrote the script tried to humanize Alicent)
