What is the most dangerous place in the world? Not a battlefield or an operating room - but the waiting room. In a solo episode for Rosh Hashanah, I begin with an insight that shakes me anew every time: life doesn't happen while we wait, it happens while we wait - and we simply aren't there.

I take you to three waiting rooms that almost all of us know inside out, and show how "a little more" unwittingly turns into 20 years.

From almost 30 years as a family law attorney, I uncover a pattern that repeats itself in thousands of people who have sat in front of me - and connect it to groundbreaking research from Cornell University on the nature of human regret. The episode also includes a list of twelve insights, a personal confession of mine, that may surprise you.
