You can not fully comprehend our Master plan!

"That should repel any boarders" sounds perfectly fine to me!

I will stop at anything to watch this video.

I still jump slightly every time i see any footage of ep 3 or 1. Its like my brain short circuits for abit and thinks its seen a fan remake or another episode. Then i remembers "omg, its the missing episode footage!" Especially the Desperus footage, which no one had any idea what it looked like.

👏Vindicating the unfairly dismissed Terry Nation

Another great video!

As they saying goes; 'a load of old tosh'🤣

Vicki thankfully survived and left in the previous story

It's kind of surprising how much Kirkson was lessened in the broadcast version. I have always found him seeing a bit nice for the crazy criminal he is meant to be, and those little cut out moments in Nation's original version do set up his true nature in a satisfying way

So what you're saying is the rewrites were a load of Tosh.

As my favorite Hartnell era companion, I am very glad Vicki didn't meet Katarina's fate.

Thank you again. I appreciate the step-by-step look at not just changed scenes but dialogue. I agree that Nation's dialogue is much better. The only positive of the change in dialogue is Hartnell played the scenes with Katarina in a very silly grandpa way which made you care more about their relationship.

This would have been a better exit for Vicki than what she was given, even if by the time of the script Nation knew she probably wasn't there.

I wonder why they cleaned up Bret's ruthlessness. Were they considering keeping him on or did they just want viewers to be more upset when he was killed?

I'm glad Vicki wasnt killed off and I wish Katarina got given more of a chance but I thin DMP was too extreme future and space and advanced for a first story for her

As a writer myself, I always feel badly for Doctor Who writers at the time of a new Doctor or companion.  If your script was written a year before, any cast change throws it into disarray.

I'm so glad the original drafts survive. This is fascinating stuff! 😊

Would make more sense her dying than staying in ancient Troy with zero technology or modern medicine. That must have been some real love. Lol

Katerina had a raw deal but  having Vicki become a mythic character  was a bold move.

More talk about DMP - sure why not.

Fingers crossed Film is Fabulous pull it out of the bag and find us The Traitors!

The Daleks WILL conquer Earth.
It's just a matter of TIME.
