Stupidity is why the penitentiary is built 🙄 🤔.

A guy in our town robbed his own parents’ store, with a big stick and no mask then fled across the street to his parents’s house where he then hid in his bed pretending to be asleep.  He got two years.  He has been an upstanding citizen since.  No one could ever figure out why he did the crime and he never explained.

There was about 1,600 people who live streamed their acts of treason on 1/6/2020 and then were shocked when they were arrested. However, one of the co-conspirators got into a position that he could pardon all of them

There was an old drug store, not part of a chain but run by the pharmacist-owner. A thug walked into the store and pointed a gun at the pharmacist, who promptly pulled his OWN GUN and shot the thug through the heart. There were no charges, of course, since this was in a civilized place.
A couple of weeks later, another thug walked into the same pharmacy and pulled a gun on the pharmacist and announced, "You shot my cousin". The pharmacist promptly pulled his OWN GUN and shot the thug in the heart. No charges. Déjà vu?
Believe it or not, that drug store was NEVER ROBBED AGAIN. I wonder why?

Most criminals aren't exactly the scholarly type. That's why they've resorted to a life of crime to begin with.

Its not a rule one but:

In high school there was a book you were given to keep track of your homework and what your teacher thought you did exceptionally well. My 2nd or 3rd year (UK, it’s usually 5 years over here although sometimes more depending on the school) one grade was given a new version they were trialing with for using it for all students starting the following year.

Don’t know all of the mishaps that happened as a result but I do know that was more like a personal planner covering allsorts and…

Said when they had intended for school to be closed, including when it would be closed for all of the teachers to go through training. Kids came to school greeted with confusion as to why we were there and parents arranging sitters if they were still too young to be left alone. Teachers volunteering to drive the special needs kids home etc.

Am I the Genius didn't put chapter marks, so I made some timestamps.

2:49:04 What are your worst college roommate horror stories?

It's also telling that the thumbnail for this video is the wet bandits, You can't get more perfect than that! It also would have been acceptable to include junk rat And road hog, Would have also been perfectly acceptable as the thumbnail.Because they're also Notoriously dumb as hell.

story 9: "I'm a dispatcher in Florida..."
Me: oh, this is gonna be good...

edit: It was!🤣

Doesn’t count for the topic cause I had nothing to go on and was just an unintentionally badly timed kinda morbid musing to myself.

The director Kevin Smith had once talked about Prince hiring him to direct a documentary based on an album he had just completed. A documentary that was to never see the light of day and that Smith was told Prince had a vault full of completed movies, albums complete with elaborate expensive high quality music videos etc that he had no intention of releasing for no real reason (so don’t even know if that album was released either.) And knowing how musican states release albums of unreleased songs after they pass I randomly thought “who ever is put in charge of Prince’s estate after he dies will be sitting on the easiest money generating gold mine imaginable.”

Guess what was allover the news just a few hours later that same day.

Yeah not really relevant but some of those accidentally predicting celebrity deaths on the day it happened stories brought that memory back.

41:03 HOLY SHIT an american drinking grolsch??? MY MANNNNNN, he knows what good beer is \m/ cheers to you my friend

Stupid criminals

In person: None

Grindr spambots: send jibberish or just punchiation marks as messages and responds as if you're sending proper messages as if you're falling for it.

Spambots on social media: The UK doesn't have Publishers Clearing House let's put it that way.

Phone scams: highlights include (mostly voicemail:)

Recording starts playing the moment something answers and had half automated messages or 4 minutes of hold music in my inbox.
Oh and waits for the beep but has no alternative recording so you hear "for... Press 1..."
No point in blocking them either because they change their number everytime but it's mostly the same digits except the last few.

Ok and one none voicemail sign:

Sounds human claiming to be government or whatever til they start giving an unprompted scam sales pitch without the fastest split second imaginable later.

That making The Hobbit was never going to go well and would only end up in disappointment. And if you think that doesn’t count as a oh %#$# I was right story, say that to my bladder who if it could speak would never forgive my dad for the not taking no for an answer or me for holding it in to the point I couldn’t stand up right when the credits started to roll during The Desolation of Smaug.

And crazy thing is that gut feeling started after Return of the King and I had just based that on the Star Wars prequel backlash. When no one was talking about making it as another 9 hour epic trilogy.

1:19:35 this is so sad, and why I believe abortion shouldn't be a thing. Because you get husbands and boyfriends who want the baby but have no say in the matter. It takes two to have a baby, but clinics and media only care what one half wants.
