Excellent tip. I heard the crowd in the background go wild when the tool was completed. 🤣🤣❤ Keep these kool tips coming.

Could you please tell me how to get the plastic button on the end of the push/pull switch lever off... in order to get to the stage you explain very nicely in your video. Many thanks.

Slides thanks. I appreciate the first vw video Tomales true sense, removal of the lights witch. Only thing how do remove the radio to get the switch without breaking it? Thankyou😊

Back to basics. Love it. Keeping it simple and cheap for a seldom needed tool. It would make a great Keychain tool/gift/marketing swag for a certain community.

Thanks Slade. You likely help many of us get over the hesitation of making our own specialty tools and thus also saved us some money buying a tool we likely will use just a few times in our lifetime. Nice job. Keep these videos coming. JS

Good info, I just made one and it worked great. I made the prongs on the end a bit slimmer to fit into the groove better.

God video !! Made one years ago with a deepwell socket of the correct size has always worked good.

That's exactly what I did. I did however notice I missed something from my dash thanks to this video. The black plastic pieces that go on the cab side of the air vent adjustments. I saw them recently after fitting my dash and wondered what they were for lol...out comes the dash..again haha.

Simple tool to do the job. I'm always looking at ways to fix things instead of buying new. I plan on buying a cheap bench metal mill for making some simple tools someday too. There was one that has the drill press on it so you can mill two ways at the same time which is way cool and programmable.

Great video as always Slade! I had to replace my headlight switch and as usual I was clueless (cause I'm blonde and a girl) in how to remove this ring. I was looking all over my workbench and saw the little wrench thingy that came with my Dremel. Voila! It fits perfectly and easy to hold on to!
