It's funny how she crushes the petrol station by sitting on it, yet super intense running across the rooftops of housing does no damage.

What idiot designed this thing?
You did sir.
Fair enough.
Love that scene

14:52 you forgot the, “4-5 characters fall off an edge and all grab onto each other cliché.”

There are two reasons I can thinl of why space ships have self destruct mechanisms:
1. To avoid them falling into enemy hands. This is also why real-life warships have self-destruct mechanisms.
2. A ship of this size would, if it were to fall to the ground, leave a pretty big crater and leave the whole planet worse for wear. Blowing it up while it's still high could avoid this.

Sin: When you showed the church doors they opened inward. When thumbs lady gets overrun they open outward.

This movie may be forgettable, but it gave me one of my favorite lines ever.
"Once again, a UFO has landed in America - the only country UFOs ever seem to land in!"

0:40 The amount of texture details in that burger probably outweigh all the main characters in the rest of the movie.

13:00 It's possible that a "zenton" represents one revolution of Gallaxhar's home planet around its star, so it would make sense for him to refer to the passage of time that way. It still makes no sense for him to speak English, though.

Also, by using the average height of a pickup truck (76.4 inches) in the gas station scene to calculate Susan's height, her height would be about 51 feet. Considering her canon height is 49'11", the proportions are nearly perfect.

He missed the foreshadowing of "There's my big girl." I'm kinda bummed he didn't mention it.

"begin the re-animation sequence." that's what they should have said when they finished this movie. 😂😂

Susan getting crushed by an asteroid replays were actually really funny

I actually loved that movie.

Rip the sequel.

Edit:I said rip the sequel because they planned to do a sequel but they didn't do it.

3:31 “Apparently the role of today's wedding pianist will be played by Voldemort's mom.” I lost it.

Nobody:

Meteor sound effect: "UUUHHHHHHH!"

"I may not have a brain, gentlemen, but I have an idea."

"Cabinet meetings."

DEAD

Another sin because if Susan litterly ran any other way she would have been fine, heck the asteroid dosent even come close the wedding thing so if she standed still she would have been fine

The President was easily the best part of this movie. That and the Area 51 joke.
“An area so secret, speaking it’s name is a federal offense”
“Is he referring to area fifty-UGH” and he gets shot with tranquilizer

"What do people say when they see you coming?"

"DID YOU PULL OUT IN TIME!?"

Dude I wasn't expecting that and laughed so hard.

Oh she attacks him with a spoon because it's Reese Witherspoon c:

Also Galaxar refers to his minions/clones/soldiers as “aliens” (“Aliens, attack all monsters!”) which they clearly aren’t to him.

As for the self-destruct, it does make sense to prevent technology from falling into enemy hands, or a defeated vessel from being used against you. That’s why in WW2 captains sunk their ships when it was clear they were defeated, see Bismarck.
