As a Ferrari sales person in the UK - it's our best-selling pre-owned car this year!

a hated Ferrari is a future classic.

Who is everyone?? I love the ROMA

@baselinej1333 1 year ago

Wasn't the Roma the successor to the Portofino, which was the successor to the California? They were all purposely designed to be entry level and not look as aggressive and over the top as the "pure" Ferrari models

The more it is hated the cheaper I can get into one. Can't wait..

Roma getting a bad rap? WHAT, it is literally one of the the most beautiful cars ever made, this is my dream car, I would have it over any Bugatti, McLaren, lambo and any other Ferrari any day, this car is the peak of super cars.

I'm not a purist, I just like cars, and the Roma has always looked ace to me.
Tunnock's are also great 👍

For me it looks stunning. As I get older I like more and more front engine Ferraris. I remember wondering who the hell would buy a 456 or a 550 etc… anyways this is pretty and usable

One of the most beautiful GTs ever made... and for four years it sold very well... around 1000 per year...would love to own one...
its easy to always want more HP and more expensive models from Rari...lots of those purists never had a car I guess....
I have a 997 and very proud of it... and people aways try to impress me with asking about GTRS or Turbo... I dont care...its my daily driver for the last years

It's a GORGEOUS car made to be parked in front of the fanciest resturant in town.
It's slow, graceful elegance. A cocktail night car, not a street warrior. It's made for 007 arriving at a party, not leaving in gunfire.

Just come back from 2200 miles in a pals Portofino - through France into Switzeland and some epic passes to Geneva. The 3.9V8 is a jewel. Totally usable as a daily.

While I was waiting for my Tributo, the dealership loaned me a Roma for a weekend. I thought it was terrific! I got used to the haptic buttons quick enough, and didn't find them to be a problem. But I do prefer real buttons! I also liked the unique front grill, and sad to see the Amalfi binned it.

I love my Roma. It drives great on the road and on the track. And it looks amazing too, reminiscent of their GT cars from 60’s. Plus, its super cheap to maintain. Not sure why it gets a bad rap?! It’s a hell of a deal if you can get one with low mileage.

I drove it several times, after owning a F550 Maranello for 15 years as a daily driver and on track days on a circuit: I regret having sold the Maranello.
The Roma is a very beautiful car, in the same time aggressive, elegant, and practical. What I don't like is the driving itself. Its tail moves out at almost any time, and it drives like a show-off car, making noise for nothing, but it never feels like a really fast car. The handling is off, and you don't feel the street. I wait until the price drops to 60K, then I may get it as a beautiful classic car.

Not that I am in the market but I love a front engined Ferrari. 550, California and the Roma.
Great looking car and also love the spec plates.

The Roma was created solely to attract typically non-Ferrari buyers to Ferrari i.e those that would go for Porsche and those that wanted something more understated than the typically loud/in your face Ferrari.

I love my Roma - just two things I’d change - I wish the sound was better - quiter at cruise speeds (too droney) and just louder under heavy throttle.
But the other thing is the tuning of the auto transmission- it’s just too quick to shift to higher gears, even in track mode. In sport and track mode the auto transmission should be more aggressive and it’s just not - which means you just run it in manual all the time which is okay- but a full auto is nice some times just needs to change with the drive mode

I live in Cali and they are still very rare. Finally saw one in person at a Cars and Coffee. It is stunning in an indescribably way. Not shocking like an Aventador, but just exudes class.
