Saw this flick when it came out in the theater. It was just as odd then as it is now. curious how many stereotypes there are about China, the USA, and the USSR in this silly flick. I quit being a Peck fan after this movie appeared. Yuck....

Too many commercials. They last longer than the movie. What's the matter with you.

Holee Wowskis!...@ 13:34 > that Pisa inspired building!..the worst ever matte painting..hehehe...then @ 14:22..the background painted matte(tall grey building) tilt down into a tracking tight-2 shot ending in a pan, but not before the camera shadow @ 14:33 on her head....hehe..sorry, its a grip thing

Yoiks!..some bad editing, goofy 1st AD mistakes with extras and lack of coverage(set-ups) > @ 19:30, Peck enters and a long tracking(crane / dolly) thru 3 rooms> restaurant/ gambling & naughty room / theatre..gold-neck chain guy and the only black dude in shades with the dorky white guy with a ciggy show up in the foreground in both the gambling/naughty room and theatre..hehe...not to mention you can see theatre performers(camera left) in the gambling/naughty room before you enter the theatre room....sheeesh...even the 'statue people' @20:28 in the gambling/naughty room reappear @20:42 in the theatre room where Peck looks at them!
