Before leaving for Yogyakarta, we stopped by for some culinary delights around Solo Balapan Station and found Pak Mangun's Ponorogo chicken satay. The satay was delicious, the portions generous, and the prices very affordable.
After lunch, we continued to Solo Balapan Station. The commute from Solo to Yogyakarta by Commuter Line costs only IDR 8,000.
You can use e-money cards, and the journey takes about an hour to reach Tugu Station in Yogyakarta.
