Inspired by Aaron Francis's TypeScript implementation, I rebuilt a deep research agent entirely in Java with Spring AI and a custom Browserbase Spring Boot Starter I created. The agent takes any topic, generates diverse search queries via an LLM, fetches web content through Browserbase, and synthesizes everything into a structured markdown report with executive summaries, key findings, themes, and open questions.
